Which one?

Basic if you just need to exist online: what you do, where you are, how to reach you. A lot of trades and single-location shops are fine here.

Standard for most businesses. Separate pages for services, a form that lands in your inbox, and the search setup that helps you show up when someone types your trade plus your town.

Premium if you have a lot to show, like galleries, many services or multiple locations, or if you want someone on call for three months after launch.

What else a website costs

  • DomainPaid to the registrar, not to us. Usually $15 to $25 a year for a .com or .ca.
  • HostingFree. The platforms we use don't charge for sites this size, and the account is in your name.
  • MaintenanceOptional. $25 a month after launch if you want us to make edits, update hours, add photos or handle anything that breaks. Cancel whenever.
  • Email addressesNot included. If you want name@yourbusiness.com we'll point you at the cheapest way to do it.

Payment

50% to start, the other 50% before the site goes live. You see and approve the finished site before the second payment.

If you're not happy after the first draft and revisions, tell us and we'll work it out. We'd rather fix it than have an unhappy client in the same town as us.

Questions people ask

Do I need to write the text myself?

No. Tell us about the business on the call and we'll draft it. You correct anything that's wrong. If you already have text, even better.

What if I don't have good photos?

Phone photos of your work, your shop or your truck are usually fine and a lot better than stock images. If you have none, we'll design the site so it doesn't depend on them.

Can I update the site myself later?

Yes. It's plain HTML and CSS in your own hosting account. Simple text changes are easy to do yourself, or we can do them under the maintenance option.

What happens if I stop paying for maintenance?

Nothing. The site keeps running. Maintenance only covers our time making changes; it isn't hosting.

I already have a website. Can you redo it?

Yes. We build the new one from scratch and move your domain over when it's ready, so nothing goes dark in between.

Why is this so much cheaper than an agency quote?

Two people, no office, no account managers. You're paying for the design and the code and nothing else.
